LEETRA Indigenous journal

The journal LEETRA Indigenous emerged as a result of the indigenous presence at UFSCar. Thus, one of the LEETRA Group's research lines is the Studies in Amerindian Literature, whose main objective is to collaborate in the implementation of Law 11.645/08, which was one of the great achievements for the social recognition of indigenous people. It makes mandatory the teaching of Afro-Brazilian and Indigenous History and Culture in all Brazilian Public and Private Elementary and High Schools.
